A painting by John has been selected for the 2022 ING Discerning Eye Exhibition at The Mall Galleries.
The Tomb is a small but carefully executed work in egg tempera and gesso on linen, mounted in a gilded frame. It is essentially a contemplative interpretation of the fifteenth Station of the Cross.
The 2022 ING Discerning Eye Exhibition will be open at the Mall Galleries and online from Friday 11 to Sunday 20 November 2022. Open 10am-5pm daily.

The Discerning Eye is a charity founded in 1990 promoting discussion and engagement with visual arts. Its annual exhibition held in London is one of the UK’s major open art shows attracting thousands of entries each year. #INGDiscerningEye
7,000 entries were shortlisted to 350 artists in 2022. The Tomb was part of a group of works selected by the artist Ansel Krut. Congratulations to all the prizewinners.
