My painting of a pair of Jackdaws has been selected for the annual open exhibition at Derbyshire gallery The Old Lock Up.

Featuring 66 artists and 100 paintings the competition is an interesting and beautiful snapshot by curator Rachael Pinks of contemporary art practice in lockdown.

My watercolour The Jackdaws of Bevagna was inspired by a moment in the life of St Francis of Assisi.
